For the Area Belgium we are looking for an HR Director.
As HR Director Area Belgium, it is your responsibility to define and implement a clear HR strategy and a long-term HR action plan with a focus on: Attraction, Development, Retention of employees, Compensation & Benefits and Social Relations.
The HR Director Area Belgium is responsible for organizing and delivering broad HR services, together with his/her team of HR professionals, to the 1000 employees that are based in the 4 production plants and the distribution center in Belgium.
Furthermore, the HR Director Area Belgium ensures that the plants remain a stable and pleasant environment for its employees, making sure the industrial relations are being managed and the payroll administration is flawless.
Additionally, the HR Director Area Belgium is in charge of initiating different HR projects and acts as a sparring partner for the Management Team on employee related topics.
The position reports directly to the General Manager Area Belgium and is part of the Belgian Management Team, together with Operations, Sales, Marketing, Category Development and Finance. The HR Director works closely together with the Corporate HR Director.
We are looking for someone who is native Dutch with a strong academic background (Master) and a proven generalistic HR Management experience on a strategic and innovative level gained within a multi-plant environment. You have proven that you can think strategically with the ability to bring it to life towards key stakeholders. Your project management skills in leading key innovation projects have also proven their worth in a previous role. You recognize yourself in the Lotus TOP values.
